Trip to a junkyard

Went to a junkyard the other day with some girlfriends (I so wish I had a camera with me). It was a fun adventure and we found some really cool gears, springs, and odd things to rust up. If they won't rust I will paint them or some such thing.

I can't wait to see what you do with these gears! I have 6 large gears from my grandfather's racing bicycles - and am still thinking on what to do with them - one a picture frame, the others, welded together maybe?

Ginny, you came by my blog and were kind enough to comment on my disentigrated clay goddess and I'd like to invite you to my group, http://MixedMediaArt.ning.com. Love what you're doing here so it would be great to have you on the site!
